multiple devices from a central location such as an operations room
or equipment cabinet. The POE devices feature a separate data-in
port coupled with a data out/POE port. The POE function is
considered Passive POE and supports Gigabit Ethernet. The Midspan
features Universal Voltage (UniVolt™) POE outputs where the POE
voltage equals the input voltage. All ports can have the same POE
voltage or you can assign different voltages to different ports.
This is useful for powering different devices with different POE
voltage requirements. The Midspan also allows some or all POE ports
to be reverse voltage POE which is required by some Passive POE

POE
Splitters are used to take the power supplied from a POE power
supply and split off the data and DC power into separate connectors.
These splitters are mainly used for powering legacy devices which are
not POE enabled but instead get their power from a DC connector. The
POE Y Splitters are useful when two devices need remote power, one
device being POE enabled to accept power thru the RJ45 and the other
device requiring DC power thru a DC connector. The overall length of
these devices is 10 inches. The RJ45 Jack is a high quality CAT5
rated jack for high speed data.

POE-INJ-1000-DIN is a shielded passive power over Ethernet inserter
that is compatible with data speeds up to 1 gigabit. The DC
connector is a locking Mini DIN type for high power applications.
All 8 Ethernet wires are powered. These POE are compatible with some
of the newer Hi Power passive POE devices like Ubiquiti airFiber™
antennas and various Hi Definition PTZ cameras. The RJ45
connectors are shielded to ensure continuous shielding from power
source to destination device.

POE
Injectors are used to inject DC Power to a CAT5 cable in order to
power remote equipment using power over Ethernet. They combine the
data and DC power on a single CAT5 cable. The power is injected on
pins 4,5 and 7,8 of the CAT5 cable by connecting a DC power supply
to the 5.5/2.1mm DC Jack. The remaining pins carry the data. The POE
Injectors are shielded connectors and cable.
The POE-INJ-LED-S has 2 LED indicators. One LED
indicates that DC power is being supplied to the inserter. The other
LED will light up when a device is plugged in at the far end of the
CAT5 cable and that device is drawing current. Operates up to 24V
POE. It uses shielded connectors and cat5 cable for ultimate
protection. 10/100 Compatible.

POE-XOVER-S is a unique shielded cable that converts a standard POE pinout to a
reverse voltage or non-standard pinout. This cable is good for
operating reverse voltage POE devices like Canopy and Trango using
low cost standard POE equipment. Creates a non-standard pinout with

The
POE-PowerTap is a unique tool that allows easy testing or monitoring
of POE voltages. It also can be used to tap into the POE voltage
from a switch or POE Inserter and extract the voltage to flying lead
wires up to 12awg. Other uses include injecting POE voltage into a
CAT5 cable from flying lead wires. The device taps into the passive
POE pinout pins 4,5(V+-) and 7,8 (V+-). It can handle up to 2A.
